Helsinki-päivän juhla

On Helsinki Day, we celebrate the birthday of our beloved Helsinki, but also its professionals and developers.

At the Helsinki Day celebrations, the city has traditionally awarded its accolades and medals. The mayor and the deputy mayors present the golden Helsinki medals to ten distinguished residents from different areas of society. The city also awards Helsinki residents who have earned credit in culture, arts and science. Rap artist Signmark and the Ballet School of the Finnish National Opera and Ballet will perform at the party.
 
The Helsinki Day party is arranged as a hybrid event, which all city residents can watch on the Helsinki Channel. All are welcome to join in on Saturday 12 June 2021 at 17.30!
