The City of Helsinki has teamed up with varying collaborative partners to create the Sustainable Cities Discussion Forum series. The Sustainable Cities Discussion Forum scheduled for June 2024 will focus on SDG11: Sustainable cities and communities. Helsinki and cities the world over are charting their progress towards the sustainability targets of SDG 11, which include safe and affordable housing, sustainable transport systems, the protection of cities’ cultural and natural heritage, and inclusive green and public spaces.
The event will take place at City Hall and is being organised in collaboration with the 2024 Sustainability Research and Innovation Congress.
Mayor of Helsinki Juhana Vartiainen will host the event.
