The mobile testbed TEKLA, which moves from school or daycare to another, is a completely novel testbed where companies can test and co-develop their EdTech innovations with end-users. The mobile learning environment developed by the City of Helsinki efficiently brings interesting new educational technologies within the reach of learners and teachers. TEKLA's first semester was in spring 2024, and its journey has been successful.

The mobile testbed is part of the Resourceful Sharing – Innovative and Co-Usable Learning Environments (JAVIST) project, which offers companies an unusually efficient opportunity to test and develop their products and services together with end users. The project is co-funded by the European Union.
